This role is essential in ensuring that our content is accessible to all users, particularly those who are visually impaired. As an Alt Text Writer, you will create clear, concise, and scientifically accurate descriptions for images, diagrams, and charts used in life sciences content.
Key Responsibilities
· Create Alt Text: Write descriptive and contextually relevant alt text for images in life sciences publications, websites, and educational materials.
· Collaborate: Work closely with content creators, editors, and subject matter experts to ensure all alt text accurately reflects the content and purpose of the images.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all alt text meets accessibility standards, such as WCAG, and effectively communicates essential information to visually impaired users.
· Research: Stay updated on best practices in alt text writing and life sciences to maintain high-quality, scientifically accurate descriptions.

Qualifications
